While I cannot reply to the majority of the comments I receive, I do appreciate and read all of them. Thank you for your support! I am much more interactive on my Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/HeatherCosplay
The first con that I attended was AWA '96. I cosplayed as 'Devil Hunter Yohko' and had a wonderful time! By '98 I was competing in masquerades at Master level, & was extremely fortunate to work as a booth model for several companies. In 2000 the CEO of SyCoNet Productions asked me to be the company's spokesmodel, which was AWESOME!!! I met Jason (my husband) at DragonCon '00. He had been working in the American Comics field for several years, and encouraged me to pursue a career as a colorist. I took time-off from cosplay to concentrate on my career and family life, but still attended conventions regularly as an artist. Years passed, and I thought that I was done with cosplay. Then an old friend asked me to break out some of my costumes for NDK '07. I agreed, and before I knew it, I was hooked again!
Currently I live in CO with my husband Jason, and our son Jathen. At conventions, you can usually find me at the MartinArt Studio booth selling art prints and other goodies.
Happy Birthday young Lady!!! You put the Cos in cosplay!!! Enjoy your special day of birth!!!
